RABI’s Return to School Grant Campaign is supported by The Potato Foundation.

Every child deserves to go to school, even in rural areas of the East Midlands (UK).

RABI stands for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution. This charitable organisation in the United Kingdom is committed to helping thousands of children (up to the age of 16) who grow up on farms. Farming lies at the heart of our nation, sustained by individuals and families who often face exceptional challenges, from financial hardship and mental health pressures to the isolation of rural life. As the farmers charity RABI is committed to being a lifeline for the community offering both financial and professional mental health support when it’s needed most.

One of RABI’s projects focuses on providing annual support to children who attend school. This often requires financial support from families, which is why RABI runs an annual campaign to reach farming families with the theme “Return to School Grant”. This subsidy is available to families in the rural community. It responds to the importance of every child being able to go to school confident and well-equiped. The campaign strongly encourage rural families with limited financial resources to apply for subsidies for their children from RABI.

The donation of The Potato Foundation plays a vital role in helping RABI to continue this mission. This will enable around 150 children of farming families across East Midlands region of the UK, in the heart of England. These children receive financial support to start their new school year.
