Ceren Orhan Bruce Chairwoman

My name is Ceren Orhan Bruce, and I have been with Lamb Weston/Meijer, now Lamb Weston EMEA, for 10 years. I began as a Regional Account Manager and am currently serving as the Food Service Channel Manager for our EMEA Food Service Commercial Team.

Why be part of The Potato Foundation? I have always felt immense gratitude toward the Meijer family, recognizing them not just as businessmen but as a humble family with a big heart, contributing to the community and environment both locally and globally. This quality has always been something I deeply admire. When I learned about The Potato Foundation, I immediately decided to join this incredible organization to share in its common goals and be part of its journey.

I am honored to serve as the Chairwoman of The Potato Foundation.

Esther van der Weele Secretary

My name is Esther van der Weele, and I started at Lamb Weston/Meijer (now Lamb Weston EMEA) almost 5 years ago. I began as an HR Support Officer and am now happily an HR Officer for our great plant in Kruiningen.

So, why be part of the Potato Foundation? In my work, connection with employees is very important, and I believe we need this connection within the Potato Foundation to reach as many employees as possible with what we do. I think it’s a fantastic gesture from the Meijer family, and I hope we can contribute to making the world a bit better!

My role in the Potato Foundation is Secretary.

Ad Huissen Treasurer

My name is Ad Huissen, and I have been retired since October 2022. I worked for Lamb Weston for 50 years, with the last 30 years as Manager of Payroll.

The reason I joined the Potato Foundation is that I fully agree with its mission and vision to provide financial support to children, young people, and adults with disabilities. Additionally, I hope to support projects that improve the quality of life.

My role in the Potato Foundation is Treasurer.

Daniela Bock Board Member

My name is Daniela Bock, and I have been working at Lamb Weston/Meijer (now Lamb Weston EMEA) since 2008. I first started in Controlling, then moved to various departments such as Supply Chain Management and Purchasing. In 2009, I began as an assistant in the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) department. After completing several training courses, I took over the department in 2013 and have been working as the HSE Manager ever since.

So, why join the Potato Foundation? The health and safety of our employees is very important to me. With the Potato Foundation, it is now possible to support people outside the company as well.

My role in the Potato Foundation is Board Member.

Bill Garner Board Member

My name is Bill Garner and I work based in the UK Production Facility in Cambridgeshire as the Plant Logistics Manager. I have worked for Lambweston Meijer and now Lambweston EMEA, since 2006 when Lambweston Meijer acquired the UK business.

During this initial period I formed working relationships with members of the Meijer family and fully respected the way they ran business operations. On being approached to represent the UK in this venture, I was more than happy to support this amazing foundation and everything it sets out to achieve.
