Who can apply for funding?
The process only begins with current and former employees of Lamb Weston/Meijer VOF, who are encouraged to identify and propose PBOs or public benefit projects that align with our core values. Only these proposals are then carefully reviewed by our board, where each project is evaluated based on its potential for positive community impact and its alignment with our mission.
The Potato Foundation preferably supports public benefit organizations and projects that have a direct and visible impact and that make a positive contribution to the living environment of (former) employees.
How do I apply for funding?
Simply fill out the application form online and wait to hear from us.
How is funding approved?
The board will meet, review the online applications, and allocate funding on a yearly basis.
Is there a minimum or maximum level of support?
The Potato Foundation has set a minimum limit of EUR 5000. Applicants will be required to provide supporting evidence for this and higher requests.
Are multi-year deals available?
The board will consider multi-year deals after the initial 12-month donation and subsequent feedback.
Do I need to be based in the Netherlands?
The board welcomes project proposals by Lamb Weston employees from public benefit organizations that align with the mission of the foundation. Operating within the LWM/Vof locations.
